The Night of Cyclone 2007 video installation 30sec-12min loop/DVD The 5th Art program Ome The video installation is based on a faint light of a candle at typhoon night. Original image is 2 min but every image are edited from 30 sec to 8 min, then these are divided 7 parts with 40 sec interval. The color is monochrome. An Install situation is total darkness. The candlelight image from monitor makes visitor appreciate the darkness behind the monitor. This work is a study between real and unreal, perception and subconscious.
